RE: COLLECTING ACADEMIC COSTUMES

The academic costumes will be issued to Hirers who have confirmed and paid Tsh 65,000/= being the cost for hiring the same. The assigned officers will issue the academic costumes from 4 th -11th November,2016 at CBE white house. The Hirers should observe and adhere to the following terms and conditions:

1. That, the Hirer shall use the said costumes for his/her graduation ceremony and for no other purpose whatsoever.
2. That, the Hirer during the continuance of hiring will at his/her own expense keep the said costumes in good and substantial repair and condition and shall be responsible for all risks (damage by fire included) (normal wear and tear exempted) and shall not remove the said costumes from his/her custody without prior consent of the owner in writing.
3. That, the Hirer shall return the said costume to the Owner immediately after the graduation ceremony and in any case NOT LATER THAN FIVE WORKING DAYS (from 14th -18th November,2016) after the date of the graduation ceremony and refunded Tsh 20,000/=
4. That, if the Hirer fails to deliver the said costumes to the Owner after the expiry of the hire period he/she shall PAY FINE AT THE RATE OF TSH. 5,000/= FOR EACH DAY SEBSEQUENT THERETO UNTIL THE OWNER TAKES REPOSSESSION OF THE COSTUMES.
5. That, if the said costumes (include a gown, hood and cap) are lost or damaged, the Owner shall recover the full amount of the lost or damaged costumes at the current market value to such lost or damaged costumes.
6. That, the Hirer shall present PAY IN SLIP AND STUDENT IDENTITY CARD before the assigned officer(s) on the day of collecting the academic costume.
7. That, CBE shall withhold the Hirer’s certificate until the said costume is returned or recovery of its full value is made as the case may be.
